When people started seeing the damage from Hurricane Harvey, many wanted to help. Some did. And some did in a BIG way. Houston Texans defensive star, JJ Watt, started an online campaign to raise some funds. He set the impressive goal of $200,000 and wanted to see what would happen. Well about a week later that goal has been met… over and over and over again. Jimmy Fallon announced last night that his show was donating a million dollars, Ellen Degenerous and WalMart teamed up wo give another million, and the Tennessee Titans gave a million too. At the time of posting this, Watt’s Houston Flood Relief Fund stood at over $21.6 million! Crazy. And pretty amazing to see how people can come together when others are in need. You can check out what the current total is right here.
