Ringo Starr has become a great-grandfather at the age of 76.
The news was first reported by Noise 11 and later confirmed by a press representative for the musician.
Starr’s granddaughter, Tatia Starkey, gave birth to a baby boy, Stone Zakomo Low, on Sunday (August 14). It is her first child with partner Adam Low.
Tatia Starkey, 30, is singer in the band Belakiss and the daughter of Ringo’s drummer son, Zak Starkey, who is known for playing with The Who, Oasis and his father’s All-Starr Band.
Starr is the first Beatle to become a great-grandfather.
Meanwhile, Ringo Starr recently revealed that he voted for Brexit. “I thought the European Union was a great idea, but I didn’t see it going anywhere lately,” he explained in an interview with Bloomberg Businessweek.
